I really, really dread summer. DH gets so damn cranky when it's hot out and even with our AC on, it still stays fairly warm in the house. He snaps at the slightest stupid thing and gets so damn crabby. I really don't know what to do other than to tell him to literally go jump in the lake and take a swim.

Watching my dh look at porn turns me on big time.

I'm still mad that my brother thought it was appropriate to randomly put on a piano performance in the middle of my wedding reception. DH tactfully asked him to stop, and he did, so I never mentioned it again... but- seriously???

Makes me wonder why they were making bets about your marriage. They probably saw something in you that your dh doesn't see.

I don't think the number of years you've been married is all that impressive. I have a friend that's been married 11 yrs and her dh has two kids with her and two with another women. I think its idiotic whenever I hear her say something like, "11 yrs and still going strong. I also know a woman who has been married for 15 yrs and she knows for a fact her dh has slept with no fewer than 20 women during their marriage. Every time she finds out she's a wreck and says something like, "Well, he always comes back." Ugh!!

DH doesn't discuss his personal life at work.It is a cut throat environment,so he keeps things impersonal.Everyone assumes that he is single and childfree.He lets them be.Last Friday a co-worker approached him with a sob story about how he should let her have the project they share because she needs the money.She is a mother of three,her DH doesn't make good money,and DH is just a single kid who has fun.When DH said no,she went into crazy mode and threatened him because she "would do anything for her kids".DH has been poking fun at her all weekend long.I think she's a psycho momma bear.

My DH left earlier for a week long business trip. I will miss him and already can't wait to have him back. However, I just spent the last 5 hours scrubbing my house, especially the kitchen and bathroom. All laundry is done, including my area rugs. I am so going to enjoy the house staying clean. (DH helps clean, our levels of clean are just different. Lol.)

My steps have children they have a hard time supporting and live in a place too small for their needs. When they come to our house, they want to relax & be free of child care for the duration of their stay (sometimes 10 days). DH & I can only take so much of their kids. When we're exhausted we say, hey, why don't you go play with mommy & dad & auntie Susie for a while. But they can't because mommy, dad, & auntie Susie are drunk by noon & "on vacation", can only watch TV & wait for the next meal, which we are sposed to fix for them. H doesn't want to confront them about this. I do.

My MIL wonders why we aren't that close. Um, maybe because you act really nice towards FIL's wife at family functions, but then trash her behind her back. Why would I want to join in that? I know my MIL does the same thing to me when I'm not around, because my DH told me. My motto is "if they'll gossip with you, they'll gossip about you" and I don't play that.

I like that facebook has individual post controls. I block all the DH's family from seeing my posts. This way, I don't have to unfriend or not friend people so I keep the peace and still keep my life mine. Thank you FB for adding these!!!
