DD2 and I actually have fun getting ready in the mornings. She's an early riser (like 5:30!) so I've learned to go to bed early enough to get a full night's sleep. Then she joins me in the shower for 'puddle splashing', we eat cereal together, sitting on the floor (breakfast picnic... she loves that!), she helps me pick my clothes, we listen to music and dance sometimes, maybe read some books, pack our bags and go. There's lots of time, so it's actually relaxed and fun.

the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10AM they test the natural disaster alarm for 5 minutes. we live 2 blocks away so no amount of windows we close or even the vacuum running drowns it out. when she heard it in December she freaked out so for January i had on my phone calender to remind me 5 minutes before so i can be right there but she woke up startled and cried, poor baby was even shaking. this time we went for a drive and it worked like a charm, she got to sleep peacefully.

I woke up with no underwear because I had sex in my sleep with my H. He said I started groping him down there when he came to bed and that I was pulling him on top of me...I have no recollection of any of it!

With my experience poor sleep, nutrition and discipline can make a kid look a lot like he has ADHD. If your kid is diagnosed, whether he/she truly has it or not, it is always good and beneficial to both of you if you really think about and change any bad habits in your kid's diet, sleep and behavior.

Americans have no idea what poor is. Poor in America have health services, poor in America have places to sleep. Poor in America have food, clean water, clean streets and clothing. If you have these things, you are not "poor".

since my dd became ill in nov, she is up at night alot in pain. when i hear her I go & lie w-her, soothe her back to sleep. before i do, i put a heating pad in my bed so that when I get back to it, it is warm & comforting. Helps so much! I read one mom put a heat pad in her newborn crib to warm it before baby slept, remove it, put baby down, baby slept much better than being in a cold crib. it really does help me fall back asleep faster.

Sometimes, judgement is deserved. I don't care who you sleep with, what you wear, who you associate with and what you do for a living, that's none of my business. It's only when your actions affect others that you deserve negative judgement. You having pink hair doesn't affect me. Your crappy driving does.
