My husband picked up some last minute side work today for the extra ($$$) money, and that's fine and dandy but I can't say it's not disappointing that we had to cancel our bike riding trip at Venice Beach. On such a beautiful Southern California day too. Oh well, there's all summer.

i read these and seems there are so many uninvolved unhelpful husbands...ladies I hope they realize how hard this is and turn it around!

My friend just came back from her fabulous cruise! She got flowers and champagne delivered because her husband had purcased the 'romance package'. I had to giggle because when she said that I imagined his penis with a big bow tied on it.

There can be a mysterious puddle on the floor of some kind of goo and all three of my kids AND my husband will swear up down and sideways that NO WAY was it theirs and they have NO IDEA how it go there.

I used to be the only girl I knew with no body or self-esteem issues. I was happy with how I was. Then I met my husband. Now I subconsciously avoid looking at my reflection in shiny things. He doesn't do it on purpose. He's just inept at compliments. "That top looks much better than that gross one you wore yesterday!" I've tried pointing it out to him but it's a fundamental part of who he is. Wish I'd realised earlier.

Did anyone else just completely loathe their husband shortly after giving birth? It has happened twice and it makes me not want to have a third. The second time the loathing was more intense and laster longer than the first time.

I love hanging out with my kids NOW, that they can fend for themselves for the most part. When they were little weekends were torture. You would think they would be easier with my husband home right? Nope.

I have had 8 pregnancies. First ended in miscarriage at 5 weeks, second produced dd. Both to 1st husband. Third ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks to boyfriend following dhs death. 4 healthy babies followed to dh2.

I'm seriously considering giving my husband full custody of our children and forcing him to move back to his parents' house. I have virtually no say in parenting, I'm undermined and overriden at every turn by not only him, but my parents and family and his parents as well. I am their literal and figurative punching bag. Emotional, physical, and mental punching bag. At least at his parents house, they'd have the consistency of being able to eat like pigs, go to bed filthy, run into the street, and stay up all night and fail out of school instead of me trying to raise them right.

After my mentally ill husband started shooting a gun inside our home, over something that only happened in his mind, yes, I am forever wary of mentally ill persons. We can never have any idea what is going on in their sick minds.
