Confessions for Showing 1 - 10 of 1500
Just for today I hate the military. I am exhausted and I just want to hand the baby over to you along with the long list of things to do, and say, "your turn I need just a little bit of sleep." It's a bad day for me because this is our first baby and you're deployed and I just want a little break for the night. I can't complain too much though because I have my mom to help out during the day...but I wish you knew just how exhausting it is to do it all.
Proud of the Joining Forces movement that it seems like they are actually getting things done instead of just talking about it. Job training for unemployed vets, and now free National Park passes for Military starting Monday. It is nice when initiatives start to work instead of empty words.
I became an aunt two days ago for the first time. I am 1100 miles away from home. As if this wasn't bad enough, I found out he is a methadone baby, and will be in the NICU for the next six days to two weeks. I am so angry at this planned pregnancy between two people who knew each other three months. And now they are having trouble dealing with the outcome of their actions. The thought of my poor nephew going through withdrawal brings tears to my eyes. I hope those two grow up....and fast!.
I really hate wives that try to judge you off their experiences with the military. We may all have to same opportunities, but that does not mean we have had the same lives. Grow up and think for just a moment that not everyone has been as blessed in their career and you shouldn't be quick to judge something you don't understand.
so i have a sister in-law that breastfeeds....i think its fine till at least 1(hes 15 months) but if your out drinking, partying with ur friends not pumping for ur son & u leave him home with daddy with no milk(& u dont want him drinking cows milk)& everyone knows what ur doing and no one approves....what do u make urself look like?! let alone ur on a 1200 calorie diet drinking body by vi...ya ur loosing weight but do u really think ur son is getting the nutrients he needs?!?!
ITs Military Spouse Appreciation Day.. wonder who thought up that? Sure wasnt my husband command and their lack of caring about the families. So wanted to say that on FB this morning.. But left a positive status about it instead. Dont want anything to effect him and yes, his command is so petty they do call husbands in for their wives saying something like that. IF it wasnt true maybe they wouldnt feel so guilty about wives saying it. end rant.
You get on facebook and say, "yay my husband passed his PT test!" Are you kidding me? Seriously, that is only the bare minimum qualification he has to have to be in the military. It's amazing the standards he holds himself to. This sounds harsh but if you can't pass a PT test than you can't do your job and you shouldn't be in the military. It's not meant for everyone. Don't put other people's lives at risk because you can't even watch your own back let alone your battle buddies!
