Great. My friend wants to try a colonic to help her "detoxify" and lose weight. I'm trying to convince her that they are just a huge waste of money, but I'm afraid she'll do it anyway. Those things are so dangerous and they don't even work.

Just discovered Kickstarter.com, a way to fund projects (advocacy, film, products, etc) for others. I don't have much money, but will donate what I can to projects I feel most inspired by. The hard part is that there are too many.

I need to exercise but I do not have money to join a gym. I go to the walking park, but hate it. People are walking their dogs (some are really big), I am terrified of dogs. They are usually on a lease, but that does not stop my fear...

OMG, my DH's office is going to offer them free onsite yoga classes to help them with "workplace stress". I would pay money to watch my DH do yoga--I hope he signs up, lol!

I love shopping online, but I hate the high prices and shipping costs. Today I just discovered this website that deals with selling clothes/electronics/housewares (basically just like Amazon or eBay) from Asian countries -- and the prices are so cheap! Plus shipping is often FREE if you live in Canada or the U.S. I shouldn't feel so happy about taking advantage of poor people working hard in poorer countries, but I love getting so much for my money! Custom-made clothes for cheaper than in regular stores, plus free shipping? I'm excited.

This person I know started a FB group to help raise money to send her Aunt to The Mayo Clinic because she has Crohn's and needed to raise something like 30,000 to go there. I of course donated. A few months later the group closes. K fine maybe they raised the money? Find out a few months ago she and her family went to Mexico. Now...If she can't afford to go to the Mayo clinic, how the EFF can she go to Mexico?? I think she used the FB group to raise money for Mexico. How sick is that? I never did get my money back, grrrr!!

First time I've had to pay back on my tax return. It was the extra money that I made as fitness instructor that pushed me over. Boo-hoo!
