Sitting here in a quiet house, the DH and kids are gone, working on my 2nd glass of wine and watching a marathon of Jersey Shore...lol! I am WAY too old for this show (almost 40) but I love to watch the hot guys and remember my hay days. :) more |

DD (3) always wants something the minute I sit down. I always feed her before I eat, but she always wants something right after I sit down. Finally, I decided it was ok if I sat & ate for a minute. Learning to wait will be good for her anyway.

shareI feel like a horrible Mommy today - my DS went to bed at about 10 last night then was up at 11:30, then at 2 to nurse. He went back down around 3. I had to get up at 5 to pump, DH bathed the baby while I pumped, then I showered and got ready. DS was asleep on DH shoulder when I came down to leave, I put him in his car seat and he stayed asleep until we got to daycare. Before I left he started to get fussy - of course, because he hadn't eaten since 3 am! DUH Mom! I left the daycare teacher to feed him a pumped bottle but was holding him while he was screaming while she got the bottle ready...
Ok so I am a bored with the routine SAHM stuff and all but,

I hate PMSing. I'm so emotional, down on myself, highly irritable and want to be pregnant again badly. Times like this I want to just pull a Sleeping Beauty and pass out for a while... and wake up being that beautiful would be nice, too.
I offered someone on freecycle half a pellet of bricks which would have cost them around $300. They got mad b/c I wouldn't give them the whole pallet (offer was for half from the start) and then got irate when I told them they would have to load it themselves. Sorry, not going to load brick in 100 degree weather. I told this this before they came over. Needless to say, the person left w/o any brick.
I love my little neighborhood except for my neighbor. He just always gave me a weird vibe. Two nights ago he was arrested for child trafficking and trying to get a women to let him have sex with her 8 year old daughter for $50. I always thought he was odd but this is just sick.
I had a dream last night that I was young again and met someone new. The dream took me through all the exciting parts of starting a new relationship - those flirty looks, the sizzle of when they touch you first time, the dizziness when you kiss them for the first time. I've been married for 11 years (with DH for 16). I love him more than anything and I wouldn't trade him for the world, but for a brief minute after the dream was over I really missed feeling those "firsts" all over again.
DH and I have started sleeping naked again, and it's done wonders for our relationship in and out of the bedroom.
